Happy Thanksgiving from Familytropolis

Fall is upon us and in the part of Idaho where I live that means cooler days, colored leaves twirling towards the ground, and holidays times fast approaching.

I love it! Fall is one of my very favorite times of the year. We have already enjoyed the glow of the fireplace and my daughter, Kiara, has been making pumpkin rolls – yum!

This year with homeschooling, teaching English classes, and taking six college classes myself – my kids happily took over the job of decorating. And didn’t they do an amazing job!

A few things I am thankful for this year:

  • Parents who know how swamped I am and offered to “bring Thanksgiving!”
  • A loving supportive husband who calls me his “home.”
  • Good books. Currently, I am reading “Love Does” and highly recommend it!
  • Amazing kiddos who are each taking one night a week to practice their cooking skills and make dinner for the family.
  • My faith in God. A favorite quote, “Our Heavenly Father did not put us on Earth to fail, but to succeed gloriously.” -Richard G. Scott
  • Music! Lately, I have been listening to the Smooth Jazz playlist on Amazon Music while I do my schoolwork. Check out why I am loving Amazon music with my Amazon Prime account here!
  • A silly cat who is crazy about yarn.

Happy Thanksgiving friends!
