One day my son pushed a pea up his nose. No, it was not the first time he had done this but it was the first time I couldn’t remove the pea all on my own. I needed help!
Thankfully, I had some great resources on my side. People who cared, the amazing internet, and divine guidance.
I learned some things from this experience that I would love to share with you.
Life can get pretty busy and at my house, it seems family dinners, where we all sit and eat together, are happening fewer and farther between.
When we do have that time I want to spend it making memories – having family fun! Enter plan OREO.
Today is our primary program. One day a year in our church the children help put on the church services – singing songs and sharing what they have learned that year. I am the children’s choir director and we have been preparing for this day all year. The kids will be fabulous! (And we’ll all be glad when it’s over.)
This year my 8-year-old is going to get up and confidently say his part with no hesitation, “When I repent I can be forgiven”. It wasn’t always that way.
Anxiety in children is a common struggle.
