When I find something I really like – I want to share it with my mom friends and the Blendtec Blender DEFINITELY is a must share!
I have had this lovely blender for about ten years and since we use it multiple times a day, it has earned a place front-and-center on my kitchen counter while most other appliances get put away.
Why I love my Blendtec
Usually, I use it to make smoothies (which are amazing for my husband’s health) and the Blendtec makes even the texture of carrots smooth and creamy. I fit all sorts of good nutritious veggies in those smoothies. Yum!
But that’s not all the Blendtec does. I use it to:
- make and heat up soup
- mash refried beans
- make flour out of grains (rice flour, oat flour, ground flax-seed)
- whip up some delicious healthy “ice-cream” from frozen berries and honey
And it can do so much more!
Seriously – who wouldn’t love a blender that can blend 53 toy cars!
Blendtec vs. Viatamix
When I knew I wanted a super nice blender we first started out with a Vitamix. Yes, it worked great – but after trying out the Blendtec it was the clear winner in my opinion. The Blendtec fit perfectly under my kitchen cupboards and had so much power it didn’t need the “tamper” to push down ingredients like the Vitamix.
While you can get the Blendtec Fit version – usually for a slightly cheaper price – I highly recommend spending just a bit more and getting this Classic version. The Fit comes with a 2-year warranty while the Classic has an 8-year plan.
Warranty
Yes – I have used the warranty and it is AMAZING! One of the blender jars had a loose blade after using it multiple times a day for several years. A new one was shipped out to us – no questions asked. My son had some trouble with the motor in his blender after a few years and they replaced it right away – no charge at all. Yep – AMAZING!
